The new Hayling Ferry
THOUSANDS of beachgoers will be able
to travel from Hayling to The Witterings
in just 15 minutes thanks to an enterprising young sailor.
Patrick White will launch Chairman, an
11-passenger ferry from Sparkes Marina at
Easter. It will travel to East Head on Fridays,
Saturdays and Sundays, meaning drivers will
no longer have to navigate the gridlocked
A27 and A286.

THE latest stretch of a world-record breaking coastal path has been opened on our Island. Walkers can now
explore 35 miles of Chichester Harbour’s wildlife-rich coastline as Natural England has officially opened a
new stretch of the King Charles III England Coast Path which links the south of the Island from the Billy Trail
over to East Head in The Witterings.
