Hayling Herald Camera Club
Seascapes and fantasy
By Debbie McIlroy, President of Hayling Island Camera Club
MARCH will be a busy month for the club.
We kick off on the 2nd with Jet Lendon giving a talk on
Mobile Phone Photography – we all have a camera in our
pocket so everyone is really looking forward to learning how
to capture a great shot with no expensive kit required!
We then have Julian Elliott presenting Breathless in Nepal
before we head into our fourth round of the Projected Digital
Image competition. We have our next members’ workshop
then finish off the month with our set subject event, where
members have previously chosen what the set subjects are;
this year it’s seascapes and fantasy.
If readers would like to attend any of the evenings
mentioned, you are most welcome. Non-members are
welcome to attend for a fee of £5 on the night.
If you then decide you want to join the club as a full
member, this will be taken off your membership fee.
Currently our half-year membership is just £30. Please
contact our secretary at secretary@haylingislandcameraclub.
co.uk for more information, or use our contact form on
haylingislandcameraclub.co.uk.
You will also find much more information on the club, as
Helen Stelitano: Misty morning blues
well as our programme for the 2025/26 season.
